2000W RV Solar System
Premium Solar Power for Families, Full-Time RVers, and Big Energy Needs
This is our base premium RV solar system—built for full-time RVers, families on the road, and anyone with big energy needs. Whether you're traveling in a Motorhome, Custom Skoolie, Fifth Wheel, Travel Trailer, or Toy Hauler, this system is designed to handle your lifestyle.
Want to run your roof A/C for longer stretches? You got it. With a fully charged battery bank, this setup can power one RV air conditioner for roughly 9 hours—even with no incoming solar. And when the sun is shining? You’ll stay cool even longer.
The 2000W RV Solar System delivers plenty of juice for your everyday essentials like 12V lights, fans, and USB ports, plus it easily handles 120V AC appliances like laptops, TVs, and microwaves. Need to dry your hair or nuke some leftovers? No problem. With more battery capacity, you’ll get more run time. With more solar, you’ll recharge faster. It’s that simple.

Micro-Air EasyStart Breeze
If you want to run your RV roof air conditioner off of solar via your inverter, you will need an EasyStart in order to lessen the initial energy draw of the A/C. Without one, you will likely damage your inverter over time.
Smaller Touch Screen
Victron makes a touch screen smaller than the Touch 70, called the Touch 50. All functionality is the same in both models.

FAQs
Will the 2000W RV Solar System work in my RV?
In most cases, yes! The 2000W RV Solar System is a great fit for larger rigs like Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers, and Custom Skoolies. If your RV is 38 feet or shorter or has limited roof space, don’t worry—simply Book an RV Solar Consultation to make sure everything fits just right. We specialize in custom RV solar installations and can tweak the layout or design a solution that works for your roof and power needs.
Will the 2000W RV Solar System power my roof air conditioner?
Absolutely! The 2000W RV Solar System can power one rooftop A/C for about 8–9 hours with no incoming solar—perfect for keeping cool through a hot afternoon or a full night’s sleep off-grid. A handy rule of thumb? You’ll get around 45 minutes of run time per 100Ah in your battery bank. So if you’re planning longer A/C use, just add more battery capacity and you’re good to go.
Whether you’re boondocking in a Motorhome, Fifth Wheel, or Custom Skoolie, we can help you build a system that keeps your RV cool and comfortable.
Does the 2000W RV Solar System include Micro-Air EasyStarts?
At Go RV Solar, our 2000W RV Solar System package includes one Micro-Air EasyStart—a must-have if you want to run your A/C smoothly off your inverter without tripping breakers or damaging components. If your rig has more than one RV air conditioner, you’ll need an EasyStart for each unit.
EasyStarts make a huge difference in soft-starting your A/C, especially when you’re off-grid or relying on a smaller generator. We install and program the system as part of your RV solar upgrade, so everything works seamlessly from day one.
Do I need a chassis charger with the 2000W RV Solar System?
In most cases—nope! If you’re rolling in a larger rig like a Class A Diesel or Gas, Custom Schoolbus Conversion, Fifth Wheel, or Toy Hauler, we don’t typically recommend a chassis charger. These systems already rely on robust solar setups and big battery banks to keep things running strong.
A chassis charger pulls power from your engine’s alternator to charge the house batteries while you drive. It’s more helpful for smaller RVs—like Class B vans, compact Class Cs, truck campers, or rigs without a towed vehicle—especially if roof space is tight and solar is limited.
Disclaimer
A 2000W system is a powerhouse, and pricing is based on a standard install. Every RV is different, though, so extra wiring or roof adjustments may be required. If that happens, we’ll keep you updated and work out the best plan together.
